In a clinical study, adding ONFI® (clobazam)
was shown to lower the number of seizures
ONFI was evaluated in 238 participants in the largest clinical study to date of adults and children with LGS. The goal of the study was to find out if adding ONFI to a person's current treatment plan could lower the number of atonic, tonic, or myoclonic seizures—also known as drop seizures—he or she has each week.
In this study, called CONTAIN, a drop seizure—either atonic, tonic, or myoclonic—involved the entire body or head and could have or did lead to a fall or an injury, slumping in a chair, or hitting one's head.
